Unfortunately the physical signs that your tank needs to be emptied can often be to late to avoid blocked pipes and compromised septic beds which are very costly to rectify. At Septicworks we log you into our database after the initial clean and Thomas makes an educated decision as to when he believes the next clean is required based on a number of variables e.g tank size, condition of tank, number of occupants, efficiency of septic bed etc.

Septic tanks should be emptied every 3 to 5 years depending on the number of occupants. Thomas is happy to offer advice on this if you are unsure as every situation is unique.
